- ¼ cup chili powder
- ¼ cup garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper

- Mix all ingredients together, store in a jar in the pantry for up to 6 months.
- For each pound of meat, 1 cup of shredded chicken, or 1 cup of crumbled tofu, add 2 tablesooons of Homemade Taco Seasoning.

- To a pan, add 1 cup of shredded cooked chicken, 2 tablespoons of Homemade Taco Seasoning, and 1/4 cup water or chicken broth.
- Cook on medium-low heat, uncovered until the water has evaporated. Stir often to avoid burning.
Ground Meat Taco Seasoning:
- Add 1 pound ground meat (beef, turkey, chicken) to a pan, brown over medium heat.
- Drain out any fat and discard, then add in 2 tablespoons Homemade Taco Seasoning and 1/4 cup water or beer.
- Lower the heat to medium-low and cook until the liquid is absorbed. Stir often to avoid burning.
Tofu Vegan Tacos:
- Crumble 1 cup of firm or extra firm tofu, add it to pan with 2 tablespoons Homemade Taco Seasoning, and 1/4 cup water.
