How to Cook Radishes
Roasting radishes are a great way to enjoy red radish recipes. You can enjoy them as a side dish, or replace croutons in your favorite salads with these healthy, crunchy bites.
Our baked radish recipe is just 31 calories per 1/2 cup, and the recipe for red radishes (or any color radishes) come with three yummy flavors.
Try this baked red radish recipe the next time you find radishes on sale. You’ll be happy you tried roasting radishes, and will want to make them all the time.
How to Roast Radishes:
- Preheat oven to 425 and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Remove and discard the radish stems, wash well and cut each radish in half. Adding to a large bowl as you work.
- To the large bowl, add the homemade ranch seasoning and toss well.
- Spray the parchment paper lined baking sheet lightly with olive oil, spread radishes out in a single layer on the baking sheet, then spray the radishes lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, tossing 1-2 times to prevent burning.
- Remove from the oven and serve hot or chill and add to a cold salad.
