This easy to make, homemade ranch seasoning recipe is low in calories. Now you can make your own ranch packet at home, and save some money, calories, and reduce the amount of preservatives in your diet. You can do lots of different things with ranch seasoning recipes. Of course you can make homemade ranch dressing. But you can also sprinkle powdered ranch over potatoes, chicken, even add homemade dry ranch mix to soups.

Homemade Ranch Seasoning Recipe

Ingredients You’ll Need:

  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon dried chives
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ cup Dry Buttermilk Powder optional

Healthy Homemade Ranch Seasoning Meal Prep and Storage

Meal Prep: This can be made as a meal prep meal, or doubled and the leftovers can be stored as meal prep! Simply add individual portions to meal prep containers and store for later.
Storage: Will hold for 5 days in the fridge and for 2 weeks in the freezer.
Reheating: Add to an oven at 200-250 degrees until warmed through. Or to the microwave for 2-3 minutes.

You can add to roasted potatoes, soups, or even make a low calorie ranch dressing with this homemade dry ranch mix.

  • To a medium bowl combine the homemade ranch seasoning ingredients.
  • To store, add the ranch seasoning to a jar and cover, or add two tablespoons of the ranch seasoning to 2 bags (the traditional ranch seasoning packets are just 2 tablespoons) and store in a clean dry place.

Special Tip:

  • If you are using the Dry Buttermilk Powder, you will want to store in the fridge. This ingredient will also add calories.
