Ingredients in Healthy Ranch Dressing
To make this ranch dressing low calorie, I used a few ingredient swaps. These help lower the calories and make this a dressing that will actually help you lose weight. Because many of the ingredients naturally boost metabolism.
Low Calorie Ranch Dressing Ingredients:
- Garlic – boosts flavor for almost zero calories, and naturally increases metabolism too!
- Chives – get fresh! Fresh chives are packed with fresh vitamin C that will naturally boost fat loss.
- Parsley – also get fresh, the flavor is better. Parsley is packed with fiber that will help accelerate weight loss.
- Dill – again, fresh is best. Dill helps reduce the triglycerides levels and bad cholesterol
- 0% Greek Yogurt – naturally boosts metabolism, and is packed with protein!
- Unsweetened Almond Milk – low calorie and fat burning, but any milk will work as long is it’s unsweetened
- Salt and Pepper – you can skip the salt if your diet requires it, and use fresh ground pepper if you have it for best flavor.
- White Vinegar – boosts flavor and brings this ranch dressing together for zero calories!

Ingredient Swaps:
- Almond Milk – any unsweetened milk will work. Or just use water.
- Greek Yogurt – you can make this ranch dressing vegan with unsweetened cashew yogurt.
- Fresh Herbs – if you don’t have fresh herbs, dried will work. I recommend using 2 tablespoons my Ranch Seasoning Blend in place of the fresh herbs and salt.
- Add Avocado – you can make an avocado ranch by smashing 1 avocado and adding it to the dressing.
- Make it Spicy – check out my Low Calorie Jalapeño Ranch Recipe for a spicy kick!
