To make this ranch dressing low calorie, I used a few ingredient swaps. These help lower the calories and make this a dressing that will actually help you lose weight. Because many of the ingredients naturally boost metabolism.

Ingredient Swaps:

  • Almond Milk – any unsweetened milk will work. Or just use water.
  • Greek Yogurt – you can make this ranch dressing vegan with unsweetened cashew yogurt.
  • Fresh Herbs – if you don’t have fresh herbs, dried will work. I recommend using 2 tablespoons my Ranch Seasoning Blend in place of the fresh herbs and salt.
  • Add Avocado – you can make an avocado ranch by smashing 1 avocado and adding it to the dressing.

This homemade ranch sauce recipe is extra easy and quick. You can add everything to a bowl, or to a high speed blender.

How To Make Healthy Ranch Dressing:

  1. Add all of the ranch dressing ingredients to a medium bowl.
  2. Mix well, and taste. Adding more salt or pepper as needed.
  3. Serve on your favorite salads

Meal Prep and Storage:

  1. Add to one large, or small individual containers.
  2. Cover and place in the fridge (not a great freezer meal prep recipe).
  3. Will hold for up to 1 week in the fridge.

  • 3 tablespoons fresh chives minced
  • 2 tablespoons flat-leaf parsley minced
  • ½ teaspoon fresh dill minced
  • 2 cups 0% Greek Yogurt
  • cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper


  • Add all of the ranch dressing ingredients to a medium bowl.
