How to Make Healthy French Fries
These oven french fries also have one more low calorie tip. To make this baked French fry recipe low in calories, I also rely on parchment paper.
By using parchment paper in this healthy french fry recipe, you don’t need to use so much oil. It stops the homemade baked french fries from sticking to the baking sheet. This way, you have less mess to clean up, and you can use less oil, thus saving you more calories
It you don’t already have parchment paper, you can still make this french fry bake recipe. Simply spray the baking sheet with olive oil before adding the french fries. And turn them three times instead of just twice.
How to Make Skinny French Fries:
- Preheat the oven to 450°, and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Peel the potatoes, and cut them into quarter inch sticks, adding them to the baking sheets as you go.
- Spray with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt. Then add to the oven.
- Bake for 15 minutes, flip the French fries and bake for an additional 10 minutes until crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside.
- Serve hot.
