And just incase you don’t want to make the Homemade Taco Seasoning. Or don’t have the Olive oil spray, I have some substitutes for you.
- Tip #1 – You can use store-bought Taco Seasoning in place of homemade. Just be sure to use the amounts in the recipe card, as a whole packet is way too much.
- Tip #2 – If you don’t have, or don’t want to use olive oil spray, rub the tilapia fillets in 1 teaspoon of olive oil.

How to Cook Healthy Grilled Tilapia
The great thing about cooking tilapia, is that it’s ready in minutes. Making it a great quick dinner recipe!
If you don’t have a grill, you can make these tilapia fillets on the stove top. Simply follow the directions below, but use a grill pan!


How to Make Grilled Tilapia Recipes:
- Preheat grill to medium high heat.
- Spray oil on both sides of tilapia filets.
- Sprinkle with taco seasoning.
- Place on the hot grill, and cook for 3 minutes, flip and grill for an additional 2 minutes.
- Remove from grill, and serve hot.
