Healthy Grilled Salmon Meal Prep and Storage
Meal Prep: This is a great meal prep recipe. You can add the Salmon to the foil packets, place in a baking dish (so you don’t have to worry about the leaking in your fridge) and refrigerate for 1-2 days. You can also cook these, and use them as cooked meal prep protein. These are great in meal prep boxes, on salads, and in my Low Calorie Salmon Patties.
Storage: Will hold in the fridge for 5 days and the freezer for a month.
Reheating: Reheat in the microwave for 1-3 minutes, or in a 350 degree oven until warmed through 15-20 minutes.

Ingredients
Recipe for Grilled Salmon Foil Packets:
- 12 ounce salmon fillet cut into 4 pieces
- BBQ Marinade of your choice (see below)
Miso Orange Grilled Salmon Marinade:
- 1 tablespoon miso paste
- 1 tablespoon orange marmalade
- 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Orange Brown Sugar BBQ Salmon Marinade:
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- Juice and zest of 1 orange
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Bourbon Honey Barbecue Salmon Marinade:
- 2 tablespoons Homemade Barbecue Sauce or organic store-bought
- 4 sprigs of fresh thyme
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Honey Mustard Grilled Salmon Marinade:
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- ½ tablespoon dijon mustard
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Lemon Pepper BBQ Salmon Marinade:
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Instructions
- Lay 4 pieces of foil on a flat surface.
- Add a fillet of salmon to each piece of foil.
- In a small bowl, combine BBQ Marinade ingredients, then pour over the tops of the salmon fillets.
- Loosely wrap the foil so you have 4 packets.
- Heat grill on high. Add salmon foil packets to grill and grill until salmon is cooked through, about 10 minutes.
