How to Make Grilled Cabbage Steaks
If you prefer to make these healthy cabbage steaks indoors, you can “grill” them on the stovetop!
Simply heat a grated pan (or skillet) over medium-high heat and cook them according to the grilled recipes below! This also means you can make this recipe anytime of the year, bonus!


How to Make Healthy Grilled Cabbage Steaks:
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Meanwhile, cut 1/2 inch off the cabbage stem. Then stand the cabbage on the cut stem and slice into 5 thin cabbage slices.
- Spray the cabbage slices with olive oil and sprinkle with the seasoning of your choosing (for the BBQ sauce use a brush to smear the sauce all over the cabbage steaks).
- Place the cabbage steaks on the preheated grill and cook undisturbed for 5 minutes.
- Flip and cook for an additional 5-8 minutes until tender on the inside and crispy on the outside.
