Healthy Beef Taco Meal Prep and Storage
Meal Prep: You can meal prep 2 ways. You can cook the healthy recipe completely then store for later, or add the ingredients to a bag, mix and add to the freezer for later.
Storage: Will hold in the fridge for 5 days and the freezer for a month.
Reheating: Reheat in the microwave for 1-3 minutes, or in a 350 degree oven until warmed through (about 20 minutes)

Low Calorie Beef Taco
Ingredients
The Best Beef Tacos:
- 1 pound ground beef
- Homemade Taco Seasoning below
- Desired shells and toppings below
Homemade Taco Seasoning:
- ½ tablespoon chili powder
- ½ tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ⅛ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Optional Tortillas and Toppings:
- Corn tortillas
- Flour tortillas
- Crunchy Corn tortillas
- Diced tomatoes
- Shredded lettuce
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Guacamole
- Pico de Gallo
- Sliced red onions
Instructions
- Add ground beef to a pan, brown over medium heat.
- Drain out any fat and discard, then add in Homemade Taco Seasoning and 1/4 cup water and mix together.
- Lower the heat to medium-low and cook until the liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes. Stir often to avoid burning.
- Serve over tortillas, with you favorite toppings.
