How to Make a Pizza Taco Recipe:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°
  2. If using homemade pizza crust, stretch into a large pizza, add to a baking sheet, and bake for 5 minutes. If using pre-baked pizza crust, skip this step, but place crust on a baking sheet and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, cook ground meat over medium heat until cooked through. Then drain, stir in taco seasoning and water, and bring to a simmer. Cook, uncovered, for 10 minutes until the liquid is absorbed.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine beans and salsa.
  5. Spread the bean and salsa sauce over crusts. Then top with taco meat, chips and cheese.
  6. Bake for 5-8 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the crusts browned.
  7. Sprinkle with lettuce and tomatoes, and any additional Mexican pizza toppings, cut into 8 slices, and serve with additional salsa.
