Low Calorie Baked Potato Toppings

Now that you know how to make the perfect baked potato, let’s discuss healthy potato bar toppings.

You can make your baked potatoes loaded in a healthy new way… I’ve swapped out sour cream for metabolism boosting Greek Yogurt (it tastes exactly the same!) and omitted the butter… Because it’s always better to load up your oven potato with zero calorie, or low calorie toppings so you won’t miss the butter.

These low calorie baked potato toppings are packed with flavor and nutrition.

Greek Yogurt tastes just like sour cream, but it boosts metabolism and is a fraction of the calories. And toppings like chives, green onions, hot sauce and jalapeƱos add virtually no calories to your healthy baked potatoes.

Low Calorie Baked Potato Toppings:

  • Greek YogurtĀ (in place of sour cream)
  • Chives
  • Green onions
  • Cooked and crumbled turkey bacon
  • Sharp cheddar cheeseĀ (use sparingly)
  • Salsa or hot sauce
  • JalapeƱosĀ (pickled or fresh)

All of these low calorie potato bar toppings will help you stay on diet. You will see I included cheese… But we recommend sharp cheese, the flavor is stronger so you won’t need as much!
