Healthy Chili Toppings for Chili Recipes

Chili toppings can turn a simple dinner, into an exciting family meal.

The best way to serve toppings for chili, is with a topping bar. I like to serve everyone a bowl of chili at the table. And in the center of the table I have a topping tray, or small bowls filled with chili toppings.

Toppings for Chili Bar:

  • Shredded cheese
  • Chopped red onion
  • Sliced scallions
  • Chopped cilantro
  • Chopped parsley
  • Chopped chives
  • Sour cream, or Greek yogurt
  • Guacamole
  • Avocado
  • Salsa
  • Chips

Try adding some, or all of these chili toppings to your table next time you make chilli recipes.

My favorite is Greek Yogurt (it tastes just like sour cream), scallions, cilantro, and salsa. Adding off of those toppings for chili only increase the calories by about 25!

It’s easy to get your family to eat healthy with you serve this healthy chili recipe along side a topping bar!
