Equipment

Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 large bananas
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Optional Ice Cream Add-Ins:

  • ¼ cup chocolate chips or chunks
  • ¼ cup mini marshmallows
  • ¼ cup nuts walnuts, pecans, peanuts, chopped almonds
  • 1 tablespoon sprinkles chocolate or rainbow
  • 1 Low Calorie Cookie crumbled

Instructions
 

  • Slice the bananas and place in a freezer bag or container. Freeze completely, for a minimum of 6 hours (I like to do it overnight).
  • Move the frozen banana slices to a blender or food processor, along with the cocoa powder.
  • Blend or process until you have a soft serve like consistency.
  • Fold in any ice cream add ins.
  • Move to a freezer container, smooth over the top and cover with plastic wrap, pushing down to ensure there is no air between the plastic wrap and the ice cream.
  • Freeze for 2 hours, then scoop and serve with your favorite toppings.
