How to Make Healthy Ice Cream

This low calorie chocolate nice cream is easy to make, the hardest part is exercising patience while it freezes! You can use a high speed blender, or a food processor to make the ice cream.

How to Make Healthy Ice Cream:

  1. Slice the bananas and place in a freezer bag or container. Freeze completely, for a minimum of 6 hours (I like to do it overnight).
  2. Move the frozen banana slices to a blender or food processor, along with the cocoa powder.
  3. Blend or process until you have a soft serve like consistency.
  4. Fold in any ice cream add ins.
  5. Move to a freezer container, smooth over the top and cover with plastic wrap, pushing down to ensure there is no air between the plastic wrap and the ice cream.
  6. Freeze for 2 hours, then scoop and serve with your favorite toppings.
