This 3 ingredient strawberry sauce makes a great strawberry glaze for cheesecake, a wonderful strawberry syrup for waffles and pancakes.
You can even add this homemade strawberry sauce to yogurt, oatmeal, and smoothies.
Special Tip: You can use fresh or frozen strawberries! Just be sure to defrost frozen berries (directions below) before making this recipe for strawberry sauce.

  • If you are using frozen strawberries, microwave for 30 seconds.
  • Place the strawberries, powdered sugar, and lemon juice in a blender or food processor.
  • Blend until smooth add a tablespoon water if needed to get the ingredients moving.
  • Move to a jar and use this 3 ingredient strawberry sauce to top ice cream, yogurt, pound cake, cheese cake, waffles or pancakes.
  • Store in fridge for up to a week.
