Ingredients
 
 

  • 3 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • ½ tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Ranch Seasoned Crockpot Shredded Chicken:

Taco Seasoned Slow Cooker Shredded Chicken:

  • 2 tablespoons Homemade Taco Seasoning (in place of garlic, salt and pepper)
  • ½ cup chicken broth (in place of lemon juice)

Instructions
 

  • Add chicken, lemon juice (or broth), garlic powder, salt and pepper (or seasoning) to a slow cooker.
  • Cook on low for 8 hours.
  • Remove chicken from slow cooker (let cool for 10 minutes to be safe) and shred with 2 forks.
  • Add back to the crockpot and mix with any leftover liquid.
