How Often and When to Drink Apple Cider Vinegar Drinks
Depending on your health goals, you may want to drink apple cider vinegar drinks 1-3 times a day.
The best time to drink them is on an empty stomach, so first thing in the morning, or before meals is best.
How Often Should you Drink ACV Drinks:
- Weight Loss – If you’re looking to lose weight, I recommend 3 light apple cider vinegar drinks (the juices or infused waters) per day, before meals (or as a meal replacement- see the smoothie recipes below)
- Better Health – If you’re looking to get more apple cider vinegar in your diet for better health, I recommend 1 drink per day. Drink it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, or before bed.
- Heart Health – To reduce blood pressure, and increase heart health I recommend 1 apple cider vinegar drink per day. Ideally on on empty stomach (first thing in the morning or before a meal).
- Appetite Suppression – If you are looking to suppress your hunger, I recommend one light ACV drink (one of the juices or infused waters below) when you’re hungry. Or substitute a meal for one of the apple cider vinegar smoothies below.
Apple cider vinegar drinks should be consumed no more than 3 times per day.

I can never get enough blueberries, they’re one of my favorite fruits. This apple cider vinegar drink has a good serving of them along with lemon juice and maple syrup to make it even sweeter.
Be sure to press the blueberries with the back of a spoon in a glass to release the juices from the berries.


Blueberry Apple Cider Vinegar Infused Water

- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 liter water
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (feel free to double if this is your only ACV drink today)
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
