Served alone or with ice cream, this healthy berry crumble is fantastic and a great healthy dessert you can feel good about eating and serving.

The best part of this recipe is it’s completely customizable. If you want just strawberries and blueberries that’s ok. Have lots of raspberries from the garden, use more of those. Choose your favorite, or get the bag of frozen berry medley from the grocery store.

And I like to use an all-nature zero calorie sugar (read more about it in the recipe card below), but you can use coconut, monk fruit, or regular sugar if you prefer.

Shopping List for Healthy Berry Crumble:

  • Mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries)
  • Zero calorie all natural sweetener (see recipe card below for more information!) or coconut sugar
  • Flour (all-purpose or gluten-free)
  • Canilla extract
  • Uncooked oats (old fashioned or quick oats)
  • Coconut oil or butter

How to Make Healthy Berry Crumble

If you don’t have a food processor you can skip that step, just add the oats and ingredients to the bowl and work together. The topping will look different but it will still be just as delicious.

How to Make Healthy Berry Crumble:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine the oatmeal, flour and sugar, to a food processor, and pulse until the oats are a fine flour.
  3. To a large bowl, combine the berry crumble filling.
  4. Mix together and then add the filling to a pie pan or 9×9 baking dish.
  5. To the same bowl (no need to wipe out) combine the oats mixture and coconut oil. Mix with your fingers until you can clump together.
  6. Add the crumble topping to the top of the berries.
  7. Bake for 60 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the berries are bubbling.
  8. Remove from the oven and let rest for 30 minutes before serving.

Berry Crumble Filling:

  • 3 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries)
  • 2 tablespoons zero calorie all natural sweetener or coconut sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour all-purpose or gluten-free
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Berry Crumble Topping:

  • 1 cup oats old fashioned or quick oats
  • 3 tablespoons flour all-purpose or gluten-free
  • 2 tablespoons zero calorie all natural sweetener or coconut sugar
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil or butter
