I like to use elbow pasta when making this recipe, but bowtie pasta and penne will also work. And you can also use protein pasta to boost protein and lower the carbs more.
I don’t bother to defrost the frozen vegetables, they help chill the salad faster!

- Tuna in water
- Red onion
- Little tomatoes
- Celery
- Frozen peas carrots and corn medley
- Red cabbage
- Fresh parsley
Low Calorie Tuna Salad Dressing:
- 0% Greek yogurt
- Dijon mustard
- Lemon
- Fresh dill

How to Make Low Calorie Tuna Pasta Salad
I like to serve this recipe chilled, but you can serve it right away, or at room temperature.
To store leftovers, simply cover and place in the fridge (not a good freezer meal) for up to 4 days.


How to Make Low Calorie Tuna Pasta Salad:
- Boil a large, salted pot of water for your pasta. Cook it al dente according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, make the dressing in a medium bowl by combining all the ingredients and mixing well.
- Once the pasta is cooked, rinse it under cold water and drain, then move to a large mixing bowl.
- Add the tuna, red onion, tomatoes, celery, frozen vegetables, and cabbage.
- Top with the dressing and mix well until everything is coated.
- Sprinkle the parsley over the top. Then cover the pasta salad and chill in the fridge for 1-3 hours before serving.

Ingredients
- 1 (12-oz) box elbow pasta
- 1 6 ounce can tuna in water drained
- 2 tablespoons red onion chopped
- 1 cup little tomatoes halved
- 2 celery stalks chopped
- ½ cup frozen peas carrots and corn medley
- ¼ cup sliced red cabbage
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
Dressing:
- ½ cup 0% Greek yogurt
- ½ tablespoon dijon mustard
- ½ lemon juiced
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon of fresh dill minced
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
