  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour (or gluten free)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ⅓ cup All-Natural Zero Calorie Sugar (see recipe card below)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ tablespoon unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup unsweetened apple sauce

  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour or gluten free
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter at room temperature
  • cup All-Natural Zero Calorie Sugar or regular sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ tablespoon unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup unsweetened apple sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl combine the flour, salt, and baking powder. Set aside.
  • In a separate large mixing bowl, whisk butter and sugar together until creamy.
  • Add in the egg and whisk together, then add the milk, vanilla, and apple sauce. Whisk well until combined.
  • Add half the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix together, then add the remaining dry ingredients and mix together until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Gently tap the pan on the kitchen counter, then run a butter knife over the top to remove any air trapped in the batter.
  • Bake for 25 – 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
  • Cool for 6 minutes, then remove the cake from the pan and cool on a cooling rack.
  • Slice the pound cake into 12 slices and serve.
