- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Season the chicken breasts all over with salt, pepper and the Italian seasoning.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet (an oven safe skillet is ideal) over medium high heat and spray with olive oil.
- Add the chicken breasts cut side up, and cook for 3-5 minutes until browned. Flip and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until browned.

- In a small bowl, mix together the garlic, lemon zest and juice, and chicken broth. Pour the garlic mixture over the chicken.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
