I cut 100’s off calories from the original lemony chicken breast recipes by removing the butter, and instead browning the chicken breasts in olive oil spray.

How to make Lemon Chicken Recipe Baked:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Season the chicken breasts all over with salt, pepper and the Italian seasoning.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet (an oven safe skillet is ideal) over medium high heat and spray with olive oil.
- Add the chicken breasts cut side up, and cook for 3-5 minutes until browned. Flip and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until browned.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish, unless you are using an oven safe skillet, in that case skip this step.
- In a small bowl, mix together the garlic, lemon zest and juice, and chicken broth. Pour the butter mixture over the chicken.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
- To serve, add the chicken to a plate (or individual plates) and spoon over the sauce from the bottom of the pan.

- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
