- 30 brussels sprouts

Healthy Brussels Sprouts Meal Prep and Storage
Uncooked Meal Prep – Cut and prep the Brussels sprouts and onions and add to a freezer bag. Add the bacon to a smaller bag and seal. Add the bacon bag to the bag of veggies, and seal. Store in the fridge or freezer until you’re ready to cook, then follow directions in recipe card below.
Cooked Meal Prep – Cook the recipe as directed and allow the Brussels sprouts cool completely. Then move to a container or freezer bag.
Frozen Storage – Uncooked and cooked Brussels sprouts will hold in the freezer for 1 month.
Refrigerated Storage – Uncooked and cooked Brussels sprouts will hold in the 5 days.
Reheating – Add Brussels sprouts and bacon to a dry pan and cook on medium-low until heated through. Or add to a baking sheet and add to an oven at 300 degrees. Cook for 10-15 minutes until warmed through.

Low Calorie Brussels Sprouts with Bacon
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bacon
- 30 brussels sprouts halved with outer leaves removed
- 1 onion diced
- ⅛ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- In a large pan over medium heat, cook the bacon until desired crispness.
- Remove the bacon from the pan and drain on a paper towel lined plate. Drain all but 1/2 tablespoon of the fat from the pan.
- Add the Brussels sprouts and onion to the pan over medium heat. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, mixing once or twice.
- Uncover the lid, mix and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the onions are browned and the Brussels sprouts tender.
- Crumble the cooked bacon over the top, and serve hot.
