This limoncello recipe drink is easy and fun to make. It will take 5 days to sit and marinade, so don’t expect to make it for a party tomorrow night.

This handy “how to” guide will teach you how to make this low calorie lemoncello recipe easily and without any sugar.

How to Make Limoncello:

  1. Use a vegetable peeler to remove the peel from the lemons in long strips.
  2. Using a small sharp knife, trim away and discard the white pith from the lemon peels.
  3. Place the lemon peels in a 2-quart glass pitcher. Pour the vodka over the peels and cover.
  4. Steep the lemon peels and the vodka for 4 days at room temperature.
  5. Pour the water and the zero calorie all-natural simple syrup over the vodka mixture. Cover and let stand at room temperature overnight.
  6. Strain the homemade limoncello through a fine mesh strainer and transfer into bottles.
  7. Refrigerate and store for up to one month. Best served cold.
