This Low Calorie Tartar Sauce is just 9 calories per 1/8 cup! It’s also low carb and low sugar.
Best of all, it’s actually healthy! Because I swap out the unhealthy mayonnaise, for my signature Greek yogurt and dijon mustard mix (which tastes just like mayo!)

And if you are opposed to removing all the mayo, I supplied a reader tip in the recipe card below. Where I share a long time reader’s combo of both, instead of removing all the mayo.

Ingredients in Healthy Tartar Sauce
To sweeten this recipe, I use an all-natured zero calorie maple syrup. But you can use regular maple syrup or honey and it won’t increase the calories by much at all. So choose what works best for your diet and budget.
And I find that the the recipe tastes best when I get the whole pickles or spears and chop those, but that might just be in my head. Choose whatever dill pickles you have in the fridge or that you will use in future recipes and don’t worry about it.
