You will want a fresh lemon as you'll need both the zest and the juice. So skip the store-bought lemon juice and just get 1 lemon.
Special Tip: If you want to lower the sodium, you can swap out the garlic salt for garlic powder.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 1 lemon
  • 1 cup fat free cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 cucumbers each sliced into 10 rounds
  • 4 oz smoked salmon sliced into 20 small pieces

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, zest the lemon. Set the zest aside.
  • To a medium bowl combine the cream cheese, fresh dill, garlic salt, and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Mix well.
  • Lay the cucumber slices out on a serving platter.
  • Top each with a dollop of cream cheese, then a slice of salmon.
  • Squeeze more lemon juice over the tops, and sprinkle with lemon zest.
  • Place in the fridge until you’re ready to serve.
