I used an all-natural zero calorie sugar (made from real sugar cane) but you can swap it out for your preferred sugar, or even use honey if you like.

How to Make Healthy Lemon Sorbet
You can make this with our without an ice cream machine. If you choose to use one, simply make the base of the sorbet and chill it for a few hours in the fridge. Then churn as directed in your ice cream maker’s instruction booklet.
But you really don’t need an ice cream maker to make this sorbet. Here are the directions.


How to Make Healthy Lemon Sorbet:
- Add the water and sugar to a small pot and heat over medium heat. Mix and cook until the sugar has dissolved.
- Remove from the heat, add in the lemon juice and the zest and mix well.
- Add the sorbet mixture into a 9×9-inch glass or metal dish and freeze for 1 hour.
- Remove from the freezer and scrape with a fork, then freeze for another hour.
- Repeat twice: freeze for 2 more hours, scraping twice.
- Transfer the lemon sorbet to a plastic container and store in the freezer for up to 1 month.
