Best of all, you don’t need an ice cream maker to make this healthy berry ice cream! Though you can if you prefer.


I like to make this with a mix of berries, but you can choose your favorite and skip the ones you want. I have made notes on how to do so in the recipe card below.

If it’s not berry season, or the mix of berries is too expensive, feel free to get a bag of frozen berry medley to make this recipe.
And you can swap the milk out of your preferred milk, as long as it is the refrigerated version (especially when it comes to coconut milk).

- Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- Raspberries (fresh or frozen)
- Blackberries (fresh or frozen)
- Strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- Unsweetened almond milk
- Zero calorie all-natural sweetener (see recipe card below for more information) or sugar
How to Make Healthy Berry Sorbet
If you want to make this in an ice cream maker, you will want to blend the ingredients and then chill them in the fridge for 2 hours. Then churn the recipe according to the directions that come with your ice cream maker. Then freeze and serve.
You won’t need to do the scraping if you use an ice cream maker.


How to Make Healthy Berry Sorbet:
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth, adding more water as needed to thin.
- Strain the berry ice cream through a fine mesh strainer to remove the seeds.
- Discard the seeds and pour the ice cream mixture into a 9×9-inch glass or metal dish and freeze for 1 hour.
- Remove from the freezer and scrape with a fork, then freeze for another hour.
- Repeat twice: freeze for 2 more hours, scraping twice.
- Transfer the ice cream to a plastic container and store in the freezer for up to 1 month.
