Ingredients in Low Calorie Rosé Sangria
Sangria is so much more than just drinks with wine and fruit. These cocktail recipes with rose wine are perfectly balanced to be strong, and refreshing at the same time.
Low Calorie Tips to Making Low Calorie Rosé Recipes:
- Zero calorie all-natural simple syrup… I use this all natural, zero calorie sweetener in place of sugar. This helps cut calories in the rose wine punch recipe, and even helps ward off hangovers. (see recipe card!)
- Sparkling water… I add more sparkling water so I can have a bigger drink, for less calories. As a bonus, you’re hydrating while your sipping!
- Add lots of fruit… More fruit means more flavor. And you can get creative, make a raspberry sangria and swap out the strawberries for raspberries.
- Sangria alcohol… I opted for vodka in this rose recipe. It has less calories and sugar, and is a a good “lower” calorie alcohol.
