  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Zero calorie simple syrup (see recipe card below)
  • One of 3 flavors (see recipe card)

Meal Prep: You can make the almond milk ice cubes ahead of time, in fact you need to.
Storage: Leftovers may thin out, alternatively add any leftovers to an ice cube tray and freezer for another milkshake later.

These Homemade Milkshakes Recipes are BIG (3 cups!) and as low as just 138 calories!

Vanilla Milkshakes:

  • Freeze 1/2 the almond milk (1.5 cups) in ice cube trays.
  • Once frozen, add the cubes, remaining almond milk, vanilla extract, and simple syrup to a blender.
  • Blend until just smooth and serve immediately.

Strawberry or Chocolate Milkshakes:

  • Add 1 tablespoon of strawberry or chocolate sauce (see below) to the bottom of a glass, pour in the vanilla milkshake.
  • Top with another 1 tablespoon of strawberry or chocolate sauce over the top and mix gently with a spoon or straw.
  • Alternatively, you can add these sauces to the blender at the beginning.
  • Serve immediately.
