Ingredients for Cranberry Bars:

  • Olive oil spray
  • Flour (all-purpose or gluten-free)
  • Cinnamon
  • Baking soda
  • Salted butter
  • Zero calorie all-natural sugar (or white sugar)
  • Zero calorie all-natural brown sugar (or light brown sugar)
  • Egg whites
  • Unsweetened apple sauce
  • Vanilla extract
  • Dried cranberries 
  • White chocolate chips

Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • White chocolate chips
  • Coconut oil (or olive oil)
  • Low fat cream cheese
  • 0% Greek yogurt
  • All natural zero calorie honey substitute (or honey)
  • Vanilla extract
  • Dried cranberries

How to Make Healthy Starbucks Cranberry Bliss Bars

It’s very important that you let these cranberry bars cool before you add the cream cheese frosting.

If you don’t cool them first, you’ll melt your cream cheese and it will get thin and runny. So be sure you let the cookie bars cool completely before you frost them!

How to Make Low Calorie Cranberry Bliss Bars:

Cranberry Bars:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and spray a 9×13 baking pan with olive oil.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, cinnamon, and baking soda. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the butter with white and brown sugar.
  4. Add in the egg whites, applesauce, and vanilla and whisk until fluffy.
  5. Pour the contents of the medium bowl (the dry ingredients) into the large bowl (the wet ingredients) and mix until until just combined.
  6. Fold in the cranberries and the white chocolate chips, and pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, smoothing out to the edges.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, then set aside to cool. (NOTE: You will want these cooled or the cream cheese frosting will melt!)

White Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting:

  1. Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave in 10 second increments, mixing in-between, until melted completely.
  2. Add the coconut oil to the melted white chocolate and mix together… This will stop it from hardening too fast.
  3. To a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, Greek Yogurt, honey substitute and vanilla.
  4. Add 1/2 of the cranberries and 1/2 of the melted white chocolate to the large bowl.
  5. Use a hand mixer or countertop mixer to whisk on medium speed for 2-4 minutes, until it’s smooth and fluffy.

How to Assemble the Skinny Cranberry Bliss Bars:

  1. Once the cranberry bars have cooled completely, smooth the frosting over the top.
  2. Sprinkle with cranberries and drizzle with remaining melted chocolate.
  3. Place in the fridge for 30-60 minutes to set.
  4. Cut into 15 squares (4 cuts vertically and 4 cuts horizontally) and then cut each square diagonally to make triangles.

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
