  • Ice tea spoons

How to Make Healthy Boba Tea:

  1. In a medium pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add in the tea bags and steep until the water cools completely.
  2. Meanwhile, cook the tapioca pearls according to the package, or according to the directions below.
  3. Drain the tea into a pitcher. Divide the cooked tapioca pearls into 2 large glasses.
  4. Add a few ice cubes to each glass. Pour 1 cup of the tea into each glass. Add 1.5 tablespoons of almond milk and 1.5 tablespoons of zero calorie simple syrup into each glass.
  5. Stir and taste the bubble milk tea recipe, add more milk or zero calorie simple syrup as needed to taste.

How to Cook Tapioca Pearls:

  1. Bring water to a boil in a large pot.
  2. Slowly add in the bubble tea tapioca pearls. Give the water a gentle stir so that the pearls do not stick to each other.
  3. Let the water boil for a minute. Cover the pot with a lid and reduce the heat to medium.
  4. Cook the tapioca milk tea pearls for 5 minutes or according to the instructions on the packet.
  5. Turn off the heat and leave the tapioca pearls covered for a few minutes.
  6. Drain the hot water and rinse the tapioca pearls in cold water for about 10 seconds.
  7. Drain the cold water and transfer the pearls to a container.
