I like to make my own BBQ sauce. It means I can control the ingredients better and I know exactly what’s in the sauce. Plus I can easily lower the sodium or sugar as needed.
But you can get store-bought if you prefer. It will change the calories a bit, but not so much that it will make this pizza unhealthy.

- Low Calorie Barbecue Sauce (or store-bought)
- Cooked shredded chicken
- Fat free shredded mozzarella cheese

- Cilantro (or parsley)
How to Make Healthy BBQ Chicken Pizza
If you don’t have parchment paper, you can add some flour to a clean countertop, then top with more flour, and roll out.
I like the ease of the parchment paper, plus it makes clean up a breeze and I don’t get flour all over the kitchen.


How to Make Low Calorie Barbecue Chicken Pizza:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees, and set out a pizza tray or baking sheet.
- In a mixing bowl, add the flour, yogurt, and garlic salt and mix until combined.
- Form into a ball of dough.
- Lay a piece of parchment paper out on the countertop (it should be the size of the pizza tray you set out).
- Place the dough in the center of the parchment paper. Top the dough with a little flour and a second piece of parchment paper.
- Use a rolling pin to roll it out. It will be about 1/4 inch thick.
- Move the pizza dough to the pizza tray, and remove the top layer of parchment paper.
- Spread the barbecue sauce over the pizza crust.
- Top with chicken, sprinkle over the cheese and add the red onion slices.
- Transfer the pizza into the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- When the crust is golden, remove the pizza from the oven, sprinkle the cilantro over the top, and slice into eight slices.
