Healthy Celery Juice Meal Prep and Storage

Meal Prep

  • Juice Meal Prep – Add the celery juice ingredients (less any liquid) to a bag or container and seal. Store in the fridge (will hold for 1 week in the fridge).
  • Prepared Juices – these juices are best made fresh, but you can make them ahead of time and store in a clean jar (with a lid) in the fridge.

Leftover Storage

  • Fridge Storage – Add any leftover juice to a jar (I actually serve them in jars so all I have to do is add a lid). Close and store in the fridge for 2-3 days.
  • Freezer Storage – Pour any leftover juice into ice cube molds, and freeze solid (about 4 hours). Then pop out of the mold and move to a freezer bag to avoid freezer burn. Will hold for 1 month in the freezer.

Notes

The Best Time to Drink Celery Juice for Weight Loss

The best time to drink celery juice is first thing in the morning before you add anything to your stomach. This is when you have the least food in your belly, and will assist in absorbing all the benefits of celery juice. However, that is not always ideal depending on medications and diet restrictions. With that said, on an empty stomach is best, so 1 hour before any meal is also a great time to drink green celery juice.
The ideal amount of celery juice to drink is 8 ounces (1 cup). The recipe card in the next section will make 2 servings… which is also a safe amount. Depending on your calorie goal per day, you can enjoy 8-16 ounces of celery juice per day.
