- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons water

Healthy Green Beans Meal Prep and Storage
Meal Prep: You can prep by timing the green beans and adding to a freezer bag or container.
Storage: Leftovers can be frozen for up to a month. Will hold for 5 days in the fridge.
Reheating: Add to a baking sheet and pop in the oven at 350 degrees for 10-20 minutes until hot. You can also microwave for 2 minutes.

Low Calorie Green Beans
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
- Olive oil spray
- 1.5 pounds green beans trimmed
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Heat a dry pan over medium heat. Add the almonds and toast for 2-5 minutes, until lightly browned. Move to a plate to cool.
- Add the pan back to the burner, raise the heat to medium-high heat and spray with olive oil.
- Add green beans and cook, stirring often until the beans start to brown, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add garlic and salt and cook, stirring constantly until the garlic is fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add water and cover immediately. Cook covered until the beans are bright green and crisp tender, 1 to 2 minutes. Serve hot.
