Ingredients in Turmeric Coffee Latte Recipes

To make this turmeric coffee latte vegan, simply swap out the honey for maple syrup. And while we are on the subject of honey, I want to explain why we used the natural sweetener in this recipe.

Many of my low calorie coffee drinks use an all natural, zero calorie sweetener. Which you can absolutely use in this recipe, but honey holds health benefits (see below for turmeric latte benefits for more info) and so we used it in this recipe for turmeric tea.

Low Calorie Tips for Making Turmeric and Coffee Recipes:

  • Use Almond Milk: Almond milk is lower in calories than other milks, and it naturally boosts metabolism! Bonus!!!
  • Add Sweetener in Moderation: We only use 1 teaspoon of honey (or maple syrup for vegan) in this recipe. Start there and only add more if you absolutely have to have it.
