I have been making infused water recipes for some time now, and I have become well versed on how to make the most flavorful and nutritious drinks.
Here you will find my Infused Water Tips to help you get the most of the recipes above.
1. Get an Infusion Bottle or Pitcher-
When you use an infusion water bottle or pitcher, the ingredients in your fruit infused water are submerged in the water. They won’t float to the top. This will help increase the flavor and nutrition.
2. If you don’t have an Infusion Bottle or Pitcher-
Use Ice! Add all the ingredients to a pitcher, then top with ice… a lot of ice. It will hold down the fruit as it melts, and help keep the ingredients submerged longer.
3. Get Organic-
In fruit infused drinks you are looking for health benefits and flavor. But all the pesticides in non-organic produce will leach into your healthy drink… making it unhealthy! Organic cucumbers are almost the same price as non-organic… so spend the extra $0.50 or $1.00 and get the healthier version.
4. Make the Night Before-
Before you go to bed tonight (or after dinner) make your infused water drink for tomorrow. It will take one less prep job off your hands, and you’ll wake up to perfectly infused water!
5. Change up the Ingredients-
