Healthy Breakfast Turkey Patties Meal Prep and Storage
Meal Prep: You can easily meal prep these! Simply wrap individual portions in parchment paper, and stack in a gallon freezer bag or container.
Storage: Will hold in the fridge for 5 days and in the freezer for a month.
Reheating: You can add the wrapped servings to the microwave for 1-2 minutes. Or pop in a toaster/toaster oven for a couple minutes.

Low Calorie Breakfast Turkey Patties
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 8 sage leaves minced
- ½ teaspoon lemon zest
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- Olive Oil Spray
Instructions
- Preheat a large skillet over medium high heat, and line a plate with paper towels.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the ground turkey, garlic, sage, lemon, cumin, chili, salt and pepper. Mix until just combined, overmixing will result in tough sausages.
- Divide the turkey mixture into six balls, then gently squish each down into flat patties.
- Spray the preheated skillet with olive oil, and add the breakfast sausage patties to the hot skillet, working in batches as needed.
- Cook each turkey breakfast sausage patty for 1-3 minutes on each side, pressing down a little to help them retain the flat shape.
- When browned completely, and cooked through, transfer them to the prepared plate to drain.
- Serve hot, or add to English muffins, along with eggs and cheese for a yummy breakfast sandwich.
