How to Cook Beef Ribs in the Oven
Making a homemade beef rib rack is impressive… and now that you know it only requires 2 ingredients, you’ll notice it’s easy too!
Below we’ve underlined and highlighted the baking times for beef rib cooking to make things easier. Plus there’s still a full recipe card below that you can Pin or Print!
How to Make Baked Beef Ribs:
- Preheat oven to 275 degrees and line a baking sheet or roasting pan with foil.
- Remove the beef beef ribs from packaging and remove any membrane is attached.
- Cut the rack of ribs in half (optional but makes foil packets easier!)
- Cover the ribs (both sides) with 1/2 of the barbecue sauce.
- Place ribs bone side up (meat side down) in 2 layers of aluminum foil and cinch to create a foil packet.
- Place rib packet the prepared baking sheet or roasting pan.
- Bake for 3 hours.
- Remove the ribs from the foil. Discard the foil and add the ribs back to the baking sheet or roasting pan, meat side up.
- Cover the tops with the remaining barbecue sauce and bake for an additional 1 hour.
- Remove from oven and rest for 15-20 minutes, then cut into one bone sections and serve.
