Mango Pineapple Smoothie for Weight Loss

Mango Pineapple Smoothie

I love to make this Mango Pineapple Smoothie for Weight Loss Recipe as an after school snack for my kiddo. It’s just 115 calories and tastes like the McDonalds smoothies for less calories, sugar, and it’s cheaper to make too!

Mango Pineapple Smoothie

Everything You’ll Need

  • ½ cup pineapple (frozen or fresh)
  • ½ cup mango (frozen or fresh)
  • ¼ cup 0% Greek Yogurt (or cashew yogurt)
  • ⅓ cup water (and more to thin as needed/desired)

Low Calorie Mango Pineapple Smoothie Meal Prep and Storage

Meal Prep

  • Individual Smoothie Bags – Add the mango pineapple ingredients (less any liquid) to a sandwich bag and seal. Store in the freezer (will hold for 1 month in freezer).
  • Family Sized Smoothie Bags  – Add several servings worth of ingredients (less any liquid) to a gallon freezer bag. Place a 1/2 cup plastic measuring cup in the bag. Close and seal the bag, and store in the freezer (will hold for 1 month in freezer).
  • Prepared Smoothies – these smoothies are best made fresh, but you can make them ahead of time and store in a clean jar (with a lid) in the fridge.

Leftover Storage

  • Fridge Storage – Add any leftover smoothie to a jar (I actually serve them in jars so all I have to do is add a lid). Close and store in the fridge for 2-3 days.
  • Freezer Storage – Pour any leftover smoothie into ice cube molds, and freeze solid (about 4 hours). Then pop out of the mold and move to a freezer bag to avoid freezer burn. Will hold for 1 month in the freezer.

Lose Weight By Eating
This Low Calorie Mango Pineapple smoothie is just 115 calories, and it comes with great add-ins to boost nutrition and turn this snack smoothie, into a meal worthy smoothie.
I like to add in protein powder, oats, and spinach (it won't change the flavor!) to make it a meal replacement smoothie. But I often make this McDonalds copycat recipe as an afternoon snack for my kiddo.
Special Tip: You cab easily make this a vegan smoothie with Cashew Yogurt.
