Sure, I could have made this low calorie hot chocolate with water. But where is the fun in that?! I used creamy (and low calorie almond milk) and real chocolate.

How to Make Healthy Hot Chocolate:
- Add the milk and cinnamon sticks to a small sauce pot.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat to the lowest setting and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove the cinnamon sticks and add in the cocoa, chocolate chips, and sugar. Whisk well until the chocolate melts and the milk gets a bit frothy.
- Pour into a mug and serve hot.
