  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning

Cinnamon Raisin:

Making English muffins at home is easy and fun! They take just 15 minutes to make (including prep time) and freeze beautifully.

I recommend allowing them to cool completely before moving to a freezer bag or container then freezing. They will last for 1 month in the freezer and 1 week in the fridge.

How to Make Healthy English Muffins:

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat, and lay a sheet of parchment paper or wax paper out (or a clean cookie sheet).
  2. To a large mixing bowl or countertop mixer combine the self rising flour and greek yogurt.
  3. Mix until combined and smooth (about 2 minutes), and then divide into 8 equal portions.
  4. Mold each portion into a ball, then flatten into a thin English muffin shape.
  5. Place each on the parchment paper as you work, until you have formed all 8 English muffins.
  6. Sprinkle the tops with corn meal (if using) and spray the skillet lightly with olive oil.
  7. Add 4 English muffins to the hot skillet and cook for 6-8 minutes, flip and cook for an additional 6-8 minutes.
  8. Move the cooked English muffins to a cooling rack and add the remaining 4 English muffins to the hot skillet.
  9. Cool completely before cutting and toasting.
