  • 3 tablespoons egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons white cheddar (or any cheese you like!)
  • Olive oil spray

Optional Add-Ins:

  • 1 teaspoon sliced green onions
  • 1 tablespoon diced tomatoes
  • ½ teaspoon chopped chives
  • 1 tablespoon chopped bell peppers
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon diced ham
  • 1 slice of cooked turkey bacon
  • 1 tablespoon cooked and shredded chicken
  • ½ Homemade Turkey Patty
  • 1 slice Canadian Bacon \

Healthy Chaffle Meal Prep and Storage

Meal Prep: You can easily meal prep these! Simply wrap individual portions in parchment paper, and stack in a gallon freezer bag or container.
Storage: Will hold in the fridge for 5 days and in the freezer for a month.
Reheating: You can add the wrapped servings to the microwave for 1-2 minutes. Or pop in a toaster/toaster oven for a couple minutes.

Equipment

  • 3 tablespoons egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons white cheddar (or any cheese you like!)
  • Olive oil spray

  • 1 tablespoon cooked and shredded chicken
  • ½ Homemade Turkey Patty cooked and crumbled
  • 1 slice Canadian Bacon diced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your waffle iron.
  • Add the egg whites and cheese to a medium bowl and whisk together.
  • Lightly spray the waffle iron with olive oil spray (or cooking spray).
  • Pour the egg mixture onto the waffle iron and close.
  • Cook until the light indicates your chaffle waffle is ready, or until it's done to your liking.
  • Carefully remove from the waffle iron (it’s hot!) and move to a plate, and serve.
