Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tomato cut into rings
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Add the chicken and spinach to the slow cooker.
  • Cook on LOW for 5 hours or on HIGH for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • Uncover the slow cooker, but leave it on. Add the tomato slices to the tops of the chicken, and spoon the wilted spinach over the tomatoes.
  • Top with cheese and cook for an additional 30 minutes on HIGH uncovered.
  • Use a spatula to gently move the crockpot chicken breasts to plates and serve hot.
