- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

- 1 egg
- 1 ½ tablespoon unsweetened almond milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ cup unsweetened apple sauce

- ¾ cup all-purpose flour or gluten free
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter at room temperature
- ⅓ cup All-Natural Zero Calorie Sugar or regular sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 ½ tablespoon unsweetened almond milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ cup unsweetened apple sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl combine the flour, salt, and baking powder. Set aside.
- In a separate large mixing bowl, whisk butter and sugar together until creamy.
- Add in the egg and whisk together, then add the milk, vanilla, and apple sauce. Whisk well until combined.
- Add half the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix together, then add the remaining dry ingredients and mix together until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Gently tap the pan on the kitchen counter, then run a butter knife over the top to remove any air trapped in the batter.
- Bake for 25 – 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
- Cool for 6 minutes, then remove the cake from the pan and cool on a cooling rack.
- Slice the pound cake into 12 slices and serve.
