Shopping List for Healthy Crackers:
- All-purpose flour
- Salt
- Olive oil
- Seasoning blender (see recipe card for lots of yummy flavors and blends!)
How to Make Healthy Homemade Crackers
These healthy crackers are so impressive, I like to make them for get-togethers and parties. But they are also great for after-school snacks and lunchbox snacks too.
I recommend using a rimmed baking sheet, and I speak from experience. When you pull the low calorie crackers out of the oven, they will move and shift. And without the rim of the baking sheet, they may slide right off your baking sheet and onto the floor (again- I speak from experience here).
Tools and Equipment:
- Rimmed Baking Sheet
- Parchment Paper
- Countertop mixer (or Bowl and Wooden Spoon)
- Measuring Cups and Spoons
- Pizza Cutter or Sharp Knife
- Rolling Pin

How to Make Homemade Healthy Crackers:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Use a countertop mixer with dough hook, or a bowl and wooden spoon to combine all ingredients until you have a firm dough.
- Divide dough into 4 balls.
- One at a time use a rolling pin to roll each out to a large, very thin rectangle, (be sure you get them as thin as you can.)
- Use a pizza cutter or knife to cut into small squares and place on at the prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkling with more salt, or more your desired seasonings (optional step).
- Bake the crackers for 10-15 minutes until crisp and golden brown.
Low Calorie Crackers Recipe
This healthy crackers recipe is easy and fun! I like to use a pizza cutter to make the cutting out of crackers extra easy. But if you’re making these for kids, I recommend using mini cookie cutters in fun shapes.
