This healthy recipe for grilled pineapple is easy to make and just 38 calories! With this yummy recipe, you can make barbecued pineapple sticks, or BBQ pineapple rings, or both!
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- 1 pineapple
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ cup zero calorie all-natural brown sugar (see recipe card below)
- Olive oil spray

Meal Prep: You can meal prep this by cutting and seasoning the fruit ahead of time. Then adding to the grill just before serving. You can also cook them completely and store for later in the fridge for a cold grilled snack.
Storage: Will hold for 2-3 days in the fridge.

Equipment
- Cookie sheet
Ingredients
- 1 pineapple cut into spears or rings 1 inch thick
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ cup zero calorie all-natural brown sugar
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to high heat, and lay the pineapple spears on a cookie sheet.
- Sprinkle the pineapple lightly with cinnamon and zero calorie all-natural brown sugar.
- Spray the pineapple rings and or spears with olive oil.
- Grill for about 3 minutes each side (spears may need 4-5 minutes each side) until they start to turn golden brown.
- Serve hot, or chill and add to salsas, salads, or sandwiches.
