Next time you find chicken drumsticks on sale at the store, try this skinny chicken legs baked recipe for dinner. It’s my daughter’s favorite cut of chicken, and she loves the flavor and perfect crisp of these fantastic oven chicken legs!
Tools and Equipment:
- Baking sheet or casserole dish
- Gallon freezer bag
- Measuring cups and spoons
How to Make Baked Chicken Legs:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with olive oil.
- Add the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper to a gallon freezer bag. Close and shake to mix together.
- Add the chicken to the bag, close and shake to cover the chicken in spices. (At this point you can marinate for up to 24 hours if you like)
- Arrange chicken on the baking sheet, squeeze one lemon wedge over them. Add the remaining lemon wedges and the rosemary to the sheet.
- Lightly spray the tops of the chicken with olive oil.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a thermometer reads 165 degrees. Remove the lemon wedges and rosemary, and serve immediately.
