Low Calorie Avocado Smoothie for Weight Loss

Avocado Smoothie Recipe

This Low Calorie Avocado Smoothie for Weight Loss is fat burning, and only 3 ingredients! It’s just 253 calories making it a great meal replacement. Best of all, you can add protein powder or collagen powder to boost the protein! I recommend doing this if you are having the smoothie to replace a meal.

Healthy Avocado Smoothie Meal Prep and Storage

Meal Prep

  • Individual Smoothie Bags – Add the avocado smoothie ingredients (less any liquid) to a sandwich bag and seal. Store in the freezer (will hold for 1 month in freezer).
  • Family Sized Smoothie Bags  – Add several servings worth of ingredients (less any liquid) to a gallon freezer bag. Place a 1/2 cup plastic measuring cup in the bag. Close and seal the bag, and store in the freezer (will hold for 1 month in freezer).
  • Prepared Smoothies – these smoothies are best made fresh, but you can make them ahead of time and store in a clean jar (with a lid) in the fridge.

Leftover Storage

  • Fridge Storage – Add any leftover smoothie to a jar (I actually serve them in jars so all I have to do is add a lid). Close and store in the fridge for 2-3 days.
  • Freezer Storage – Pour any leftover smoothie into ice cube molds, and freeze solid (about 4 hours). Then pop out of the mold and move to a freezer bag to avoid freezer burn. Will hold for 1 month in the freezer.

Lose Weight By Eating
This avocado smoothie is sweet and delicious, and filled with fat burning and metabolism boosting ingredients.
It's just 253 calories, and if you want to add a boost of protein, try adding a scoop or two of vanilla protein powder, or collagen powder.
Special Tip: Avocados are high in fat, but these are healthy fats. And they actually tell your body to shed fat (because storage is not needed) so don't be put off but the nutrition label. This is a great weight loss smoothie.
