Meal Prep: This recipe can be made ahead of time and then cooled. Then place in an airtight freezer bag or container for later.
Storage: Will hold in the fridge for 6 days and the freezer for a month.

These air fryer asparagus recipes are easy and packed with flavor.
You can use store-bought, or homemade spice blends. I have included recipes for all of them should you want to make your own. It's a great way to ensure an all-natural recipe, and control the salt and sugar as well.
Special Tip: If you don't have olive oil spray you can use regular olive oil. Ideally shoot for just 1 teaspoon of olive oil to keep these air fried asparagus spears low calorie and crispy.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees.
  • Add the asparagus to a baking dish and spray with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle over the seasoning you chose, and toss together to coat well.
  • Working in batches if needed, add the asparagus to the air fryer in a single layer.
  • Air fry 5-7 minutes for medium thick asparagus, 7-10 minutes for thick asparagus, or 3-5 minutes for thin asparagus.
  • When the asparagus is crispy on the edges, it’s done.
  • Carefully remove from the air fryer and serve alone, or with one of my low calorie dips (see above!)
