This Low Calorie Sparkling Ice and Baking Soda Drink for Weight Loss is all over the internet, and for good reason. It works! I did jazz it up a bit and added in even more fat burning ingredients, but I kept them optional so you can add them, or not.
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 bottle chilled Lemonade Sparking Ice (Lemonade, Berry Lemonade, or Strawberry Lemonade)
- 2 strawberries (optional)
- 5 raspberries (optional)
- 3 sprigs of mint (optional)

Meal Prep: You can meal prep (or make party pitchers) by making the drink and skipping the ice. Then cover (jars are great for this) and store for late
Meal Prep: You can make these ahead of time, but they will loose the fizziness. They are best made fresh.
Storage: Leftovers will hold for 2 days in the fridge, though they will lose their fizziness.

Low Calorie Sparkling Ice and Baking Soda Drink for Weight Loss
Equipment
- Cocktail shaker (or a tall glass – you can serve in this glass too)
- Spoon, Fork, or Muddler
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 bottle chilled Lemonade Sparking Ice (Lemonade, Berry Lemonade, or Strawberry Lemonade)
- 2 strawberries optional
- 5 raspberries optional
- 3 sprigs of mint optional
Instructions
- To a cocktail shaker (or a tall glass) add the baking soda and the lemon juice.
- Stir well to dissolve the baking soda.
- Add in the berries and mint (if using) and use a spoon, fork or muddler to mash at the bottom of the glass.
- Top with Sparkling Ice (slowly so it doesn’t not bubble over) and gently stir with a spoon or straw.
- Pour into a glass (or skip and drink out of the glass) and serve cold.
- Special Note: You can add ice to the drink, but be careful as it might bubble over.
