Ingredients in Healthy Pizza Rolls

You’ll want self rising flour to make this dough. All-purpose won’t rise and won’t work in this recipe. But as a bonus, you won’t have to wait for the dough to rise.

And you can swap out the pepperoni for another meat, 1/8 cup chopped pizza veggies (bell peppers, red onions, mushrooms, olives, etc). Or just take it out and save an additional 4 calories per roll.

How to Make Healthy Pizza Rolls

I love how the cheese melts out on the bottom and crisps up. It won’t stick thanks to the parchment paper, which means you won’t need to add oil to the baking sheet or the recipe!

This saves calories and money. But what I love the most is that the parchment paper makes this recipe easier to clean up.

  2. In a mixing bowl, add the flour, yogurt, garlic salt and Italian seasonings and mix until combined.
  3. Form into a ball of dough.
  4. Lay a piece of parchment paper out on the countertop.
  5. Place the dough in the center of the parchment paper. Top the dough with a little flour and a second piece of parchment paper.
  6. Use a rolling pin to roll it out to a large rectangle, 1/4 inch thick.

  9. Working from the bottom, roll up each pizza roll and place it cut side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  10. Transfer the pizza rolls to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the crust is cooked through and golden, and the cheese is melted.
